Marko Simic menjadi bintang dalam kemenangan 3-0 milik Persija Jakarta atas Bali United dalam final Piala Presiden 2018 hari Sabtu, 17 Februari 2018, di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno. Salah satu golnya dicetak dengan tendangan salto.
