Dua nama terakhir masuk ke skuat timnas U-19 dibawah arahan Bima Sakti.
Nama Andika Wijaya menjadi debutan, karena pertama kali dipanggil oleh Milla ke timnas U-23 untuk persiapan menuju Asian Games 2018.
"Ada kejutan, Andika Wijaya dipanggil Timnas Indonesia. Ada satu lagi yang dincar pelatih Luis Milla, tapi saya belum boleh bilang karena baru sebatas obrolan pribadi," kata Pieter Tanuri, bos dari Bali United seperti dikutip dari CNN.
Namun pemanggilan enam pemain Bali United bisa mengganggu jadwal mereka di kompetisi Asia yakni Piala AFC.
Bali United harus bertolak ke Filipina untuk menghadapi Tampines Rovers pada 27 Februari mendatang.
Sementara pemusatan latihan Timnas Indonesia digelar di Jakarta pada18-28 Februari, skuat Bali United harus pergi ke Filipina dua hari sebelum laga kickoff.
"Tapi saya sudah menyampaikan ke PSSI dan mereka cukup kooperatif. Tanggapn PSSI luar biasa, mereka bilang tinggal tulis surat saja. Nanti pada saat keberangkatan tanggal 25 (Februari) pemain itu tetap boleh dipinjam untuk ke Piala AFC," sebut Pieter.
"Jadi memang timnas nomor satu tapi Piala AFC juga penting. Karena kalau disuruh pilih kami bingung juga. Tapi untungnya bisa dikoordinasikan," tutupnya.
Bali United akan memainkan partai final Piala Presiden 2018 pada akhir pekan ini melawan Persija Jakarta.
Laga itu akan digelar di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno pada Sabtu 17 Februari 2018.
